Xpür® is a new, revolutionary cork cleaning process that uses an updated and re-engineered supercritical CO2 extraction method. Leveraging 21st-century technology, the Xpür process uses only 25% of the energy, and just 10% of the CO2 previously required.
Xpür makes TCA and other off-aromas a thing of the past. Xpür removes volatile substances that could cause sensory faults without damaging the natural characteristics of cork. This process preserves the elasticity of cork granules, eliminating the need to use any artificial components like plastic microspheres, commonly used in other micro-agglomerated cork stoppers.
