These ScottCart Membrane (PES) cartridges are our standard 30", Code 7, 0.45 micron offering. Appropriate for the filtration of wine, sparkling wine, cider, and other beverages, these cartridges are integrity testable and preserve sensory characteristics while ensuring microbial stabilization.

The inert and highly asymmetric polyether sulfone (PES) membrane provides validated microbial retention to typical spoilage organisms. Combined with hydrophilic properties for easy integrity testing, ScottCart Membrane (PES) filters provide assured performance throughout their service life.

What's the difference between this cartridge and the ScottCart Membrane (PES) Pro Cartridge?

ScottCart Membrane (PES) Pro cartridges offer an integrated pre-filter layer and a 33% larger filtration surface area than these standard ScottCart Membrane (PES) cartridges. This offers higher flow rates, greater resistance to fouling, and a longer service lifetime. They are especially well-suited for high-throughput applications. Please note: the integrated pre-filter layer does not replace the need for pre-filtration or pre-membrane cartridges, it simply extends the lifetime of the final cartridge.
