Replacing a bent or damaged mixing shaft will increase mechanical seal life
We recommend inspection after each use. Grooves and/or a bent shaft will cause premature seal wear.
Many customers take advantage of how easy it is to swap out the shaft in one of these mixers by having shafts of various lengths which are tailored to their different tank sizes. The general rule of thumb is that the shaft length should be approximately 40-60% of the diameter of your tank.
