Description

Lenticular Module filtration is a method of depth media filtration which eliminates the hassle and mess of Plate & Frame style filters without needing to invest in more expensive membrane filter media.

Benefits:
  • Enclosed design eliminates the mess and product loss associated with dripping plate filters.
  • Simple to load and operate - no need for wetting and re-tightening.
  • No fiddly gaskets to lose or huge stack of plates to clean & sanitize.
  • Vertical orientation requires less space to operate and store.
  • Housings can be loaded with as few as one filter module*
  • Filter modules can be back flushed and reused multiple times**

*Additional equipment required.
 ** When using backflushable modules.

Design Features:

Optional items for Lenticular housings (see related items above):

Additional Center Posts
Additional center posts accommodating 1, 2, or 3 modules are available for our 2-high and larger lenticular housings. These posts allow for fewer modules than the housing is rated for, providing additional flexibility in meeting your filtration needs. Housings must be run with as many modules as match the capacity of their center post, not at the maximum capacity of the housing. So 4-high housings can accommodate 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-high center posts; 3-high housings can accommodate 1-, 2- and 3-high posts, etc.

If your operation has widely varying lot sizes where you'll frequently be operating at both the 1-2 module range and the 4 module range, a split-dome housing can help minimize product losses when filtering smaller lots.

Backflush plates:
Backflush plates are highly recommended if you plan to back flush SupraDisc II modules. The plates provide support to the modules and reduce the risk of possible tearing or deformation during the process. You'll need two end plates, plus one fewer intermediate plates than the number of modules you're running. For example, a 4-high housing uses two end plates and three intermediates, whereas a 1-high housing uses two endplates and zero intermediates.
