Liquid SO2 solution

SULFIVIN K150 is a potassium bisulfite solution containing 150 g/L of potassium bisulfite (KHSO₃)
  • Suitable for use at any stage of winemaking
  • The pre-formulated solution simplifies dosing, reduces handling risks, and minimizes potential errors, making SO₂ management safer and more precise
  • Pre-prepared solution makes sulfur dioxide additions easier and safer and helps eliminate errors
  • SULFIVIN K150 is a 7.995% solution of SO₂

    How to Calculate Additions:
    To ensure accurate SO₂ additions, use the following formula:
    Desired Addition (mg/L)×Volume (L)/10×SO₂ Concentration
    For SULFIVIN K150, with its concentration of 7.995% SO₂:
    Example Calculation:
    • Target Addition: 13 ppm SO₂
    • Wine Volume: 100 L
    • Calculation: 13×100/10×7.995=1300/79.95=16.26mL (round to most practical volume for addition)
    In this example, you would add 16.26 mL of SULFIVIN K150 to achieve a 13 ppm SO₂ addition in 100 L of wine. For practical purposes, it's advisable to round the result to the nearest whole number, so you would add 16 mL of SULFIVIN K150 to achieve a 13 ppm SO₂ addition in 100 L of wine.

    Format: Liquid

    Usage: Homogenize properly after addition in wine or must. 
    Avoid contact with metallic items (iron, copper or aluminum).

    Storage: Dated expiration. Store in a dry, well-ventilated environment at a temperature between 5–25°C (41–77°F). SULFIVIN K150 rapidly loses its effectiveness once the package has been opened.
