Description

Direct inoculation yeast for reds

HOP™ can be added directly to must without rehydration with no compromise on performance compared to standard rehydration.
  • Uniquely selected and produced for direct inoculation
  • Strong fermenter with short to medium lag phase
  • High resistance to SO2
  • Low production of volatile acidity
  • Saccharomyces cerevisiae cerevisiae strain

Alcohol Tolerance: 16%
Nitrogen Needs: LOW-MEDIUM
Temp. Range: 57–86°F (14-30°C)

Usage: Add HOP during tank filling or directly to the must. For very large tanks, HOP can also be resuspended in 10 times its weight in room temperature water/must. Stir gently and add to the must.
